Vaccines are divided into two classes, “core” vaccines and “non-core” vaccines. Core vaccines are recommended for all cats, and non-core vaccines are recommended for cats depending on their lifestyle.

Non-core cat vaccines include:
- Feline leukemia (FeLV)
